Columbus Jewish Youth Foundation Grants $5,000

CJYF Teen Board members Philip Schuss, Michael Fishman, Jared Levine, Naomi Benatar, Ariel Cohen, Ben Sinvany, Lauren Levy, Chad Meyer, Samantha Levy and Carlin Coffey awarded $5,000 in funding for programs addressing hunger, poverty and the Jewish Needy in Columbus on May 4 at the Columbus Jewish Foundation.
May 4, 2011: Hunger, poverty and the Jewish needy were all on the minds of the Columbus Jewish Youth Foundation Teen Board members as they selected grant recipients for the 2011 program year. This select group of Jewish teens from across central Ohio determined funding guidelines, requested proposals, read and reviewed applications, talked with organization representatives and determined where $5,000 in Columbus Jewish Foundation grant dollars would go this year.
