Max Gold will be Foundation's summer intern

June 5, 2012

Maxwell Gold, a University of Toledo Philosophy major, will be interning this summer at the Columbus Jewish Foundation. He has ambitions to go into professional fundraising and development.

He served as Vice president for Finance and External Affairs for his UT programming board, Campus Activities and Programming, where he managed a $100,000 budget and procured sponsors for various events. As Hillel President for three years, he was instrumental in establishing a Hillel House capital campaign. He also started a Student Activities Endowment, which will fund the student activities fee at the University.

During the course of his undergraduate extracurricular activities he managed, fundraised and budgeted over half a million dollars.

During his summer internship, Gold's primary assignment will be Marketing and Social Media. "I am excited for this opportunity to work with the Foundation. I think it will be the experience of a lifetime," said the Columbus native.
